Product leader accountable for growing Viva Engage adoption and revenue by expanding to new customer segments, adding new premium capabilities, and scaling core platform and experiences such as notifications, search, and compliance to support that growth. Viva Engage serves the needs of organizations around leadership connection with their employees, fostering a sense of belonging through communities, and sharing knowledge across the organization.
Venkat has been working at Microsoft for 17+ years building products and cloud services for enterprises and fostering developer ecosystems serving M365 customers. Prior to Microsoft, Venkat worked in Amazon Web Services building and operating utility webservices, running product development at an early-stage company, Evoxis, catering to public safety agencies and utilities, and at Trilogy Software developing product configuration systems for telecom industry.
Venkat graduated with Bachelor’s from BITS, Pilani, India, Master’s from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, and Ph.D. in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been based in Seattle metro area for the last 18 years.
