Speaker: Murali Sitaram

Murali is the CVP of the Viva Engage team, accountable for product, engineering, and service delivery for this product as part of the M365 suite and Viva Premium offerings. Murali has held this role since September 2017.

Before joining Microsoft, Murali Sitaram led Google’s GTM and technology partnerships as Managing Director of Global Partnerships and Alliances serving Google Cloud’s portfolio including Google Apps, GCP, Chrome and Google Maps for business. Prior to Google, Murali was the VP/GM of WebEx at Cisco, where he helped grow WebEx customers, usage, and revenue by over 50%. Murali earlier led the development of WebEx Social an Enterprise Social Platform after successfully helping turn around Cisco’s Call Center business as GM leading their product and engineering teams. Earlier in his career, Murali held various product leadership positions at companies such as Avaya, Narus, Aspect Communications and Quintus, with experience leading product and engineering teams building CRM applications, developer platforms and communications technologies over a 30-year career.

Murali holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and two Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Bombay. He lives in Los Altos, CA with his wife, son, and French bulldog!
